Residences at MGM Grand Passes Halfway Point in Sales

The second of three towers at the Residences at MGM Grand are now 70% sold, according to a January 2005 article in the Las Vegas Review Journal.
"Sales have exceeded all expectations as more and more people learn they can live in Las Vegas with the world famous Strip in their backyard," said Dan Riordan, director of sales, as reported in the article.
Upon completion, the project will have three 40-story towers, each with 576 units. The first tower is sold out and under construction. Work on the second tower is scheduled to begin in March 2005.

Third Tower Begins Early for MGM Grand Residences Construction has started 3 months earlier than planned, as more than half of the 576 units in the third tower have been sold. This half-way point in sale allowed construction to begin early. The first tower sold out quickly, in just 90 days back in January 2004. "Work Starts Early for Last Residences Tower" Smith, Hubble.
