Sales are expected to start in early March for Turnberry Towers, a high-rise condominium development to be built near its sister property, Turnberry Place. The new project, also by Turnberry Associates, will comprise two 45-story towers, each with 316 units, at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue.

Turnberry Place recently completed new sales for its fourth and final 40-story tower, which is under construction and expected to open in 2006.

"The year 2004 was by far the strongest year in sales for Turnberry Place," sales executive John Riordan said. "The market has expanded since we first began sales in 1999. More people are considering purchasing a high-rise home today because of the privacy, location, amenities and lifestyle.

"The high-rise boom that we helped create and the movement towards urban living has contributed to our strong sales. I anticipate there will be a very strong demand for Turnberry Towers when we introduce it to the market in March."

The gated development will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom units priced from $375,000 to $1 million.

"There will be a large inventory of one-bedroom residences to accommodate the demand," Riordan said. "The residences will be contemporary with spacious floor plans suited for active lifestyles."

Planned amenities include a fitness center, pool, tennis and valet service.

Construction on the first tower will begin this summer with completion slated for late 2007, according to Riordan.

Additional information may be obtained in the sales office at Turnberry Place, which is located on Paradise, south of Sahara Avenue. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
